akainagi: (goodbye)

And yet another FF pairing eats my brain ...

I have the whole weekend off, so I've been taking the time to play some Final Fantasy XII.
It's actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought the battle engine was going to be the kiss of death, but it has really grown on me. And of course, I've had by yaoi pairing for this one picked out from the very beginning.

VaanxBash. Aaaaaaaaw, yeah. The big, butch (hot) warrior type with the totally effemenate sissy boy.

I am *so* predictable, ne?

That is a good song.

^__^
It's a good album.
Not that I've ever seen her make a really bad album, but that's one of my favorites. I consider "Earthquakes" "Pele" and "Pink" to be a holy trinity of albums, actually.

Well put...

Her live version of "The Waitress" (found on To Venus And Back - Still Orbiting) is amazing.

I can play "Winter," "Mother" is my favorite (among many), and The photography on Pele is stunningly Tori.

Referencing the artwork on a Tori Amos album gets you automatically friended. Period.

The one I really like that no one else seems to is "Tear in Your Hand." Love that one. *nodnod* "Mother" is also a good one.

You can play "Winter?" I'm jealous. My musical talent ends at sining along with the car stereo.

She's very old-fashion classy in her style, and I think her music reflects that. She just hashes it out with her dark and metal personas, and that's more the harpsichord and synth-bass on "Professional Widow."
Her nerdiness is playfully evident in "Space Dog."

But I love her deep end, whether content or brooding.
She is SEX.

I know "Winter" up to the chorus, then I have to stop. I was learning it for a piano recital about ten years ago. I found out it was cancelled, and shortly after, my lessons were as well (no connection between the two).
So I never got past the first two pages, but I know it well enough to impress by acting like I just chose to change my mind and not finish it, an "Oh, that's so simple, I'll play another instead."

I write a few of my own. Composition destroys me.
In fact, my best work is symphonic and choral stuff I got from Roy & Ed related thoughts.

Soundtrack to my fantasy couple.

Oooooh. Love "Space Dog" too.
Tori is sex. RoyEd is sex too. So thinking of RoyEd while listening to Tori is practically an orgy.
