I just ordered a PalmOne LifeDrive Mobile Manager, which is technospeak for a snazzy little piece of shit that will let me surf the internet while I'm supposed to be listening to lecture. Oh yeah, and about 4mb storage for mp3s. Bitch cost about $500 with the service plan. I should get it tomorrow. That is unless we have another sleet/hail/snow/shitstorm.
Good thing I'm working extra days this week to pay that bill off. I'm picking up a shift for a buddy of mine who has a brother in the hospital.
I succumbed and finally watched Advent Children last night and OMG was that gorgeous. The animation is superb. And as usual, Nobuo Uematsu has put together another amazing score. The fight scenes threw me at first because when you but the gravity-defying moves together with animation that looks so lifelike, it's hard to reconcile the two. It's easy to accept stuff like jumping 200 feet up in the air to sekwer a giant dragon without breaking a sweat (and somehow managing not to splat into a pancake on the landing) when the person doing it is an obvious cartoon character. But these guys are so realistic, it seems very strange. After the first fight I got used to it, though, and by the big-ass finale I was revelling in it.
Tifa rocked in this too. She was always one of my favorites. And they whip out everyone. Yuffie, Vincent, Cait Sith, Red, Cid, shit even Rufus (who is voiced by the same seiyuu who did Roy in FMA). The Seiyuu who did Hughes is there too.
