YOu have a knack for getting your characters to admit to themselves what's going on in their heads, in a way that isn't just a rehash of what we've already read. Here's a perfect example: "At what point had he become so wrapped up in the cult of his own victimhood that he lashed out at the only person who cared about him rather than admit any kind of weakness?"
Bones's dream: THE FEELS! (We know they'll get there, too, unless you throw us a curveball, which, please don't!) :)
And Jim opens the door that he slammed shut the previous day, proving to himself that maybe he's not a coward after all.
