akainagi... and it has a big, shiny blue screen.
I woke up this morning to find a fatal error on my computer. One which will not allow me to boot up, let alone retrieve any of my files. So unless tech support can come to my rescue, I am off the internet for the forseeable future. I can't salvage any of my audio or video files. I'm not even gonna mention how many of my nursing papers got trashed. Needless to say I may be looking at dozens of hours of work down the crapper. It's probably going to mean a total wipe of my hard drive.
There's really nothing else to say.

Date: 2006-04-19 01:49 am (UTC)I seem to have it up now (after 8 hours on the phone with tech support), but unfortunately I had to wipe it clean. I can hande losing my anime files, because I'm pretty sure I can replace them, but I'll never be able to get back the 1,600 mp3 files I lost.
But at least It's running now.
