This was lovely. I always enjoy any story that links Jim to Hoshi Sato and Tarsus. The idea of her teaching him her first language, and the temple as a place he seeks for comfort due to that bond? Evocative, and subtle, unless I've very much missed my guess. The ema broke my heart, and I loved Bones' thought process as he read them. I'd love to see more from you!
