This continues to be awesome. The idea that the suppressors really screw you up with long term use is perfect. And I really, really want my very own tricorder. I really liked Bones's struggle with balancing friendship versus pushy doctoring. He made the right long-term choice--if he'd dragged Jim's ass to the hospital, that would've been it for them as friends, at that point, I think. Or else the damage would've been really hard to fix. Go Bones! And go you, for such an amazing story.
